How to Clean a Wood Floor with Non-Toxic Cleaners

    • 1). Sweep the wood floor with a soft broom or use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove any dust, dirt or debris from the floors.

    • 2). Mix half a cup of white vinegar and one gallon of warm water in a bucket.

    • 3). Agitate the mixture with a soft mop.

    • 4). Wring the mop to remove any excess moisture.

    • 5). Mop the wood floor, working in sections. Do not use this mixture on waxed wood floors. Use a damp mop and plain warm water to clean a waxed wood floor.

    • 6). Dry the floor with a dry soft mop or clean cloth.
