How to Clean a Wood Floor with Non-Toxic Cleaners

- 1). Sweep the wood floor with a soft broom or use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove any dust, dirt or debris from the floors.
- 2). Mix half a cup of white vinegar and one gallon of warm water in a bucket.
- 3). Agitate the mixture with a soft mop.
- 4). Wring the mop to remove any excess moisture.
- 5). Mop the wood floor, working in sections. Do not use this mixture on waxed wood floors. Use a damp mop and plain warm water to clean a waxed wood floor.
- 6). Dry the floor with a dry soft mop or clean cloth.
