How Do I Craft in Cabal?
- 1). Reach character level 50 and class level 2. Crafting is not available to any character before this point.
- 2). Obtain the map code to Port Lux. This involves a long series of quests beginning all the way back at level 20. The map itself is gained through completing "The Last Knight" quest.
- 3). Use the Port Manager Karter in Green Despair to reach Port Lux and visit the Core Alchemist while there. The Alchemist provides a transmuter, the central item for crafting. Purchase the formula cards from the Alchemist and right-click on each card to activate the skill. Choose the type of crafting you wish your character to learn.
- 4). Press the "C" button to enter the character menu. Select either the "Prof. Craft" or "Basic Craft" tab from the top of the menu. Professional crafting lists the items that are exclusive to your character's chosen profession. Basic crafting includes items that are available to all professions.
- 5). Use the drop down menu to select crafts. Basic crafting uses only one drop down menu to select item levels. Professional crafting, however, requires choosing the type of item and then the material. Once selected, a list of craftable items appears. Items displayed in red can't be crafted due to lack of experience or craft level. Items in yellow can't be completed due to lack of materials. Items in white can be crafted at that time.
- 6). Select one of the items from the list. The required material for the items are listed at the bottom of the crafting box.
- 7). Gather the materials listed. Once all materials are acquired -- which makes the item name appear in white in the crafting menu -- click on "Item Craft" to begin crafting. Wait while the operation is completed.
