How to Easily Overcome Phone Fear And Elevate Your Business

You have to learn how to overcome your phone fear because...
Only a select number of network marketers actually call their prospects! So, if you can eliminate any phone fear you may have that is preventing you from calling, you immediately become part of the cream of the crop of marketers.
But more importantly, if you can't connect with people over the phone and you continue to hide behind your computer, you will never truly build the kind of business that I know you really want.
Before we continue, you must understand this universal truth: PHONE FEAR DOES NOT EXIST UNLESS YOU ALLOW IT TO.
Ok, so before we even talk about getting on the phone, let's dig deep into where this fear comes from.
First off, most likely if you are afraid of picking up the phone, you are focusing on things you think you can't do, your limitations, and the sensation of how the fear feels.
Maybe you get butterflies in your stomach, or your mind starts to race.
So right of the bat, you have to focus your mind on your belief in yourself, and in the business.
Any other thoughts are irrelevant.
Also, you might have phone fear because of how you are approaching the call.
For example, I used to work phone sales jobs where I knew every phone call I had to make was going to consist of pitching, hard selling, convincing, begging, and crossing my fingers that the person on the other end of the phone even had a bank account.
That kind of approach leads to lots of hang ups, cussing, and rejection.
If you are viewing yourself as some sort of telemarketer before you get on the phone, of course you are not going to want to do it! But remember, you are not in the business of selling.
You are presenting information and collecting decisions.
Actually, 'presenting information' really does it no justice...
you are offering a solution.
You know what you have can help them, right? You know you have something of incredible value to offer, right? Of course you do! So, don't go into your calls with a "Oh golly, I sure hope things go well!" mindset.
'Hope' won't build your downline, and neither will allowing your emotions to dictate your actions and living in a mindset of fear and SCARCITY.
So instead, attack your phone fear with a mindset of ABUNDANCE.
Just think to yourself, "No matter what, this will go well.
Even if this person does not join my team, it will still be a good call, and I'll learn from it.
" Come from a place of knowledge, power, and leadership.
Remember, the people on the phone NEED your help.
My final thought on overcoming phone fear, you may still have some doubts, and are wondering "What if they have lots of objections, or chew me out, or just flat-out reject me?" People won't be attacking, objecting, or rejecting YOU.
They are just vocalizing their fears, and doubts, which come from ignorance.
Guess what? YOU can turn all that around, for they will have illusions, assumptions, judgments that are automatic, but by truly listening and building rapport, you can handle anything thrown at you.
You are a rock star.
The only person telling that you're anything but that, is YOU.
