Kate is reading her diary when Sonny enters, so he joins in. Kate confesses that she misses her parents and talks about their anger when she rejected her backgroud to become "Kate Howard." I don't know why she just didn't go with "Constanza," as a one-name personality, but I guess she had her reasons. Maxie arrives to inform Kate that Giselle has a back problem and won't be able to serve as Kate's maid of honor!

I don't know why she was in the first place. Kate recovers from that quickly and chooses Clarice, but that's not to be either. She has food poisoning. By default, the job falls to Maxie.

Kate finally lets loose with the superstition heebee-geebies when the florist wrongly delivers funeral flowers rather than the expected wedding flowers. You don't have to be superstitious to take that as a sign. Wedding off. Sonny is very supportive and makes a great argument, so Kate is dissuaded from canceling the wedding.

What are the odds that a bimbo like Olivia would sit next to a nun on her flight to Port Charles? Olivia talks the sister's ear off, and from that one-sided conversation, we realize that Olivia, like all women, still has the hots for Sonny C.

Jax, he of the buzz cut, is hanging at the MetroCourt and overhears Carly ordering a dress. It's for Sonny's wedding, of course. Jax tells her that it's a bad idea for her to go. Carly says she's going, and then her attention is diverted to Olivia checking in - Carly hears the name of her ex-husband uttered.

She'll be all over Olivia like a cheap suit.

If Kate only knew - Diane and Alexis chose identical dresses to wear for the wedding, and both insist that they want to wear that particular dress. Just stay on opposite sides of the room.

Jason enters the penthouse as Spinelli is doing something that looks a little like dancing. Jason wants Spinelli to do a job for him on the QT. Diane has a business deal she wants Jason to work on, but he isn't interested in that, only in his orders to Spinelli. He wants an Italian vacation package set up for himself and Elizabeth. He then asks Elizabeth to meet him at her studio. When he invites her to Italy - WHOA.

Meanwhile, Officer Lucky is going camping with the kids, but he wants to visit Lulu first. Before that, there's the matter of beating up Johnny. He has a full plate. Actually, he was set up by Claudia via Ric, who tells Lucky that Johnny is going to Shadybrook to visit Lulu. These two - Ric and Claudia - are attending the nuptials together. That's one dynamic duo - going in the wrong direction.
