JR: Any great maternity-style secrets to share with those moms building a maternity wardrobe on a budget?

AN: Keep it simple! I made a pact with myself to only buy maternity clothes in black, white, denim and khaki. This extended my wardrobe's mix-and-match options and helped reduce trendy impulse purchases. Also take note of the construction and fabric quality of items before you buy them. Will it shrink?

Will it fade? Will it hold its shape? An item on sale isn't a deal if it falls apart in three weeks.

JR:Have you managed to find that sacred balance between motherhood and your business?

AN: Ah, that elusive balance! I think I will always be striving to find it... My family always comes first. They are my priority. Even if it means getting less sleep than I might like!

JR: Has there been a good response to the line of Bashful Bump products? What's your top-selling bodysuit?

AN: The response has been overwhelming! I get so many emails from women who tell me they wear their bodysuits all the time - even more than they ever expected they would! - and that the peace of mind the bodysuits provides them makes the extra step of snapping well worth the effort. Our top sellers are the tank tops and the three-quarter sleeves, depending on the season. All styles are chic on their own as well as layered under other tops and sweaters.

JR: What's coming up next?

AN: More styles, more colors! And I have another must-have in mind but I'm still writing the patent for that :)

JR: Can you please share your top five tips for staying stylish while pregnant?

AN: Sure...

1. Keep it simple: This nine-month wardrobe isn't supposed to be a large as your everyday wardrobe.

2. Buy quality: Regular wearing and washing is tough on clothes. You want yours to last all the way until the end.

3. Keep it "You": Would you wear the non-maternity version if you weren't pregnant?

4. Accessorize:Great accessories can make your outfit. Classic jewellery, sunglasses and a great bag are always Jackie O.
