How to Connect a Propane Grill to a Large Tank

    • 1). Tighten the metal knob on the propane tank clockwise to ensure the fuel supply is off.

    • 2). Attach the heavy black connector on one end of the grill's fuel hose to the brass nozzle mounted on the side of your tank. The connector turns clockwise to seal onto the tank.

    • 3). Connect the other end of your gas hose to the threaded brass port on the rear of your grill's control panel. This port is connected on the other side to the burner control knob.

    • 4). Twist the knob on the gas tank counterclockwise to open the valve and release propane into the fuel line. Check carefully for unpleasant odors or the sound of a leak. If you detect propane, close the tank valve again and reconnect the fuel line.
