This Week In Weird: Eaten Alive, Starbucks Exorcism, Plane Pushing & More
'Eaten Alive' Will Show A Man Get Eaten By An Anaconda Snake
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to get eaten by a giant snake -- if you've ever wanted to live vicariously through someone else as he's eaten by a giant snake -- then here's your chance.
On Sunday, Dec. 7, Discovery will air a show called "Eaten Alive" which will feature (what else?) a man getting eaten alive by an anaconda.
According to clips from the show released by the network, Paul Rosolie put on a special protective suit and then covered himself in pig's blood to make himself seem tasty enough for an anaconda to swallow.
He was attached to some kind of rope she he could be pulled back out.
Rosolie said he is doing it to raise awareness,
"In the days leading up to Eaten Alive on Discovery Channel, I understand that many people have questions," he wrote on his website. "All I can tell you now is that all my work is based around the fact that wildlife and ecosystems today, across the globe, are at a critical moment. No group of animals so much so as apex predators."
Some critics have launched a drive to get "Eaten Alive" taken off the air with this petition on Change.org, claiming the stunt would harm the snake.
But Rosolie said he'd never hurt an animal.
"For those worried about animal cruelty, I invite you to research my work – read my book," he wrote. "Then ask yourself: would this person ever hurt an animal?"
Starbucks Exorcism? Demon Cermony Caught On Video
A group of young Christians was caught on video apparently trying to chase a demon away -- and it all happened outside a Starbucks in Texas.
"In Jesus Christ's mighty name. By the blood of Jesus Christ, by the blood of Jesus Christ, you have no legal ground to be in here," the young man leading the exorcism tells the demon."You have to leave. You cannot trespass on the cross."
The possessed person twitches and spits into a coffee cup, which could help make the coffee a little less bitter if nothing else.
The person who recorded the video wrote on Reddit that he witnessed the event at a Starbucks in Austin, where he had seen young Bible groups meeting regularly.
"This is the first time I've seen something like this though," he wrote.
As long as the possessed doesn't start puking pea soup, everything should be OK.

When The Plane Is Stuck, Get Out And Push
If you think winter in travel stinks where you are, be glad you don't live in Siberia. When temperatures hit -52 recently, the plane froze to the ground and the pilot asked the passengers to get out and push.
I bet some people would get out and run away. But in Siberia, they did it -- they got out and pushed.
Check out the YouTube video here.
Once the plane was free of the ice, it was able to take off and made it to its destination without further incident, reports the Huffington Post.
Is This A Skull On Mars?
If you look closely at this picture, you'll see... well... you'll probably just see a bunch of rocks.
But some people think they see evidence of life on Mars. Or at least death on Mars, because they believe this photo shows a human-like skull partially buried in the Martian sand, according to UFO Sightings Daily.

And then check out the original photo on the NASA website.
You'd have to be a special kind of brave -- or maybe a special kind of crazy -- get on a bicycle with a rocket attached to it and them zoom off at 207 mph.
Francois Gissy rode just such a bike recently, not only hitting that record-breaking speed but even leaving a Ferrari F430 in the dust as he blasted off down the track.

I'm not done with speed yet.
Wait 'til you hear what one televangelist said about speeding.
Put the pedal to the metal folks, because God says it's OK to speed... as long as you don't hurt anyone else.
That's what televangelist Pat Robertson said recently, even boasting that he's driven at speeds topping 100 mph.
