Jessica tells Brody the truth -- this baby might not be his.... and that the night of the prom, when she thought she was a teenager, after witnessing Cristian propose to Layla and being told what Mitch had tried to do to her.... she lost it. Sleeping with someone else was an accident. Brody wondered who could it be, who could have taken advantage of her like that, and then guesses it was Ford. Jessica said she thought nothing happened, she didn't remember, and when she asked Ford, he denied anything happened.

It was only when Kelly found out he had gotten some test for Hepititus C, did he finally admit to her that something did happen. Brody, took it all in... listened and although not pleased, seemed to accept that Jessica's sleeping with Ford that night was not really her fault, given her mental state at the time. Jessica was so upset at having to tell Brody about this and the thought of having to lie about it and cover this up would be worse, and she could not bear the thought of what it would do to Brody if the baby turns out not be his.

John and Nataie are going to go out somewhere, when Natalie mentions Brody. A knock on the door brings Marty, who has come to talk to John, having just learned it was Eli who was responsible for pushing her down the stairs and causing her to lose her and John's baby. Marty is a saint for wishing John and Natalie the best with their baby, and says she is glad John has a second chance to be a father. After Marty leaves, Natalie tells him she brought up Brody because of a scare that came up with his and Jessica's baby and how their blood types don't match.

Then, Natalie and John visit the doctor to have an ultrasound... "our baby," Natalie says more than once, with a guilty look all over her face.

Greg, who came empty handed without Tea's ashes, came clean with Todd about how Tea had asked for him and their daughter before she died, but it was too late. Greg might have wanted to tell Todd something else, but he got a text message that said not to say another word. Dr. Evans told Todd he tried to call him, but he and Dani must have already left with Shaun. Later, Tea's ashes get delivered in a box, inside of which is an urn. He has some sentimental flashbacks of her (very sweet ones) and then hugs the urn. Later, Todd visits Marty to ask how to cope with losing Tea. Marty wants to refer Todd to a colleague of hers, but Todd doesn't want it, says he hates all doctors.

Starr and James run into each other at school. James has his GED and will be auditing his brother's class. Langston tells Ford and then James, that nothing can happen between her and Ford even though she has agreed to take his class. There are rules about fraternizing with students (last year he was just a Teaching Assistant). Ford decides to not teach the class instead, and a short time later his students are told they will be getting a new teacher, including Langston and James, who are surprised at the news. Becasue Starr and Cole were out arguing about Cole keeping a secret (about Eli) from her, James waited behind to tell Starr that class was cancelled because of the last minute teacher replacement.

Ford is trying to win Langston back, he even signed up for therapy to fix his issues. She rebuffs him so many times, they are actually still standing together with Ford saying he will change, when Brody storms in, spins Ford around, calls him a sonofabitch and gives him a right hook leads Ford to fall flat on his face.
