How to Thread a Bobbin on the Brother 2125I

    • 1). Turn power switch to "o" to disconnect the sewing machine from the power supply.

    • 2). Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the balance wheel counter-clockwise and raising the presser foot lever.

    • 3). Open the shuttle cover on the front of the sewing machine. Remove the bobbin case by pulling its latch towards you.

    • 4). Unwind roughly 4 inches of the thread from a full bobbin and insert it into the bobbin case. Pull the trailing thread into the slot -- in a down and to the left motion -- until it enters the delivery eye under the tension spring.

    • 5). Insert the bobbin case -- while holding it by the latch -- into the shuttle. Release the latch. The bobbin case finger should fit into the notch at the top of the shuttle.
