- 1). Place the stained side of the fabric face down onto an old towel. This will allow the stain to transfer onto the old towel.
- 2). Pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto the fabric, causing the alcohol to soak into the stain. Allow the rubbing alcohol to soak into the stain for a minute.
- 3). Blot the fabric with a clean cloth. Lift up the fabric to determine if any ink has transferred onto the towel.
- 4). Switch to a clean area of the cloth, and continue blotting the stain until no more ink transfers onto the towel. Continue to pour more rubbing alcohol onto the fabric, if needed, while blotting the fabric.
- 5). Launder the fabric according to the tag's instructions. In the fabric cannot be laundered, blot the fabric with water. Allow the fabric to air-dry.
