How to Make a Wagon Wheel Out of Paper
- 1). Draw two circles 2 inches in diameter on a blank sheet of paper. Use a compass with a pencil to draw the circle accurately.
- 2). Draw two circles that are 3-inches in diameter on the same sheet of paper, over the 2-inch circles. Use the center of the 2-inch circles to draw the 3-inch circles to make concentric circles.
- 3). Draw two circles that are 1.75 inches in diameter on the same sheet of paper, inside the 2-inch circles. Use the center of the 2-inch circles to draw the 1.75-inch circles to make concentric circles.
- 4). Draw an X in the center of the two 1.75-inch circles, then draw two more Xs next to the first X. Each of the new Xs should be 1/8 inch away from the first X on either side. This will create an X that is ¼-inch wide.
- 5). Color in the thick X and the space between the 1.75-inch circles and the 2-inch circles with a brown marker. This will create the spokes of the wagon wheel.
- 6). Draw a line from any point on the 3-inch circle down to the 2-inch circle, and then draw another line ½ inch away from the first line in the same fashion. Repeat this step until you've gone around the entire circle, then repeat this step on the second set of circles.
- 7). Cut out the 3-inch circles from the paper using a pair of scissors, and then cut along the lines drawn in Step 6. Cutting along the lines will create tabs for the wheels. Fold the tabs onto one side of the circles, away from the spokes.
- 8). Paste the tabs from each of the circles to the tabs of the other circle using a glue stick. The tabs should be pasted flush against each other so that there is only 1 inch between the two faces of the circles that have spokes on them. This will make one wheel.
- 9). Draw two rectangles on the sheet of paper that are 1 inch wide by 6 inches long and color them in with the brown marker. Then cut the rectangles out of the paper using the scissors. Finally, apply glue from a glue stick to the rectangles, on the side that isn't brown, and wrap them onto the tabs of the wheel to cover the tabs.

Repeat Steps 1 through 9 on three other sheets of paper to make all four wheels for the wagon.
