Sea-Derived Mud, Please

Who would have thought that a body of water named the Dead Sea would contain so many healing elements? After all, the "Dead Sea" sounds pretty dreadful.
But within its splendid waters are secret  powers--it is full of the highest concentration of minerals in the world.
According to Genesis, the first book of the Bible, Chapter 1, Verse 10:  "God called the dry land, Earth; and the gathering together of water, he called Sea.
God saw how good it was.
"  Whether or not  you recognize God or believe Biblical references literally, we all would probably agree that sea water is "good.
" Going back to the origins of the human race, many substances from water have been recognized as nourishment for skin cells.
Marine products are packed with trace elements not readily available from the "Earth.
"  In addition to high concentrations of trace elements, ocean plants, algae, seaweed, mud, and sea salts contain healing and therapeutic chemicals such as vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids all of which are beneficial to our cells.
When seaweed is placed on the skin allowing its nutrients to seep deep under the surface, cellular turnover and new growth are stimulated.
Therefore, all these marine ingredients are used in natural beauty  products as nutrient enhancers, for skin repair, and to promote circulation.
Sea-derived mud is often mixed with other natural ingredients and painted on the body providing a relaxing way to detox.
The mud from the Dead Sea is also used in products that purify clogged pores and regulate the texture of the complexion.
Who knows maybe our great, great ancestors were cave women and cavemen who soaked in mud from the Dead Sea.
Times have not changed much, now most of the world's most alluring spas offer treatments packed with marine ingredients, especially mud.
So whenever you are having a spa treatment be sure to request: "sea-derived mud, please.
" There you go! Our cells have what you could call an intrinsic sense of what they need to grow and stay healthy.
Bodies of water such as the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean Sea are home to thousands of life forms that our cells 'remember' and respond to favorably.
Listen to the advice of doctors and historians, who have believed for ages in the healing powers of water and mud.
