How to Easily Stop Your Dog Barking at Night

If your dog tends to bark, it can be very annoying.
If you go out to work, you may have received complaints from neighbors or you may even find it difficult to get your dog to calm down when you get home.
However, if your dog barks at night then you're probably not getting any sleep either.
It is essential to learn how to stop your dogs chronic barking as soon as possible - and the good news is, there are answers! When faced with your dogs chronic barking at night, you may want to help stop your dogs chronic barking by preventing "separation anxiety".
This can be exacerbated by leaving your dog alone in the dark.
Many dogs do not like this because of the unfamiliar surroundings.
For example, imagine if you had just been adopted or you had just been taken away from your mother (as a youngster) and are then plunged into darkness all by yourself.
You'd probably feel anxious and scared.
That is exactly how your dog is feeling.
However, there are certain things you can do to stop your dogs chronic barking and ease his or her nerves.
For example, to stop your dogs barking, try using a nightlight and a radio.
The nightlight will give him or her a little light (for comfort) while the voices on the radio can give him a sense that he has company and is not alone.
This will encourage a feeling of security and less barking as a result.
You could also take your dog's crate into your bedroom for the first few nights.
Doing this will help him realize that you are close.
You can then begin to gradually move the crate away from your room so that eventually, it is out of the room completely.
Either way, it's important to realize that it may take time to stop your dogs chronic barking, so try to exercise patience.
