How to Convert a Hand Grinder to a Buffer

- 1). Hold the grinder in your hand. Press in on the lock button for the chuck. This will prevent the chuck from spinning while you loosen it.
- 2). Fit the chuck wrench over the chuck and turn it in the opposite direction as the rotation to loosen it, while still holding the lock button down. Pull the grinder bit out.
- 3). Insert the buffing bit into the grinder chuck. Fit the chuck wrench over the chuck and turn it in the same direction as the rotation to tighten it while holding the lock button down. Remove the chuck wrench from the grinder and release the lock button.
