A rotary duct has a body like a vacuum cleaner with a long coiled hose. At the tip of the hose sits a cleaning brush that rotates and sucks up dirt and grime. • If you have vents and not large ducts, a rotary vent cleaner might be better for you than a larger model of the two cleaning tools listed above. Rotary vent cleaners are similar to rotary duct cleaners, but are much smaller, and can be handled more easily. Rotary vent cleaners also can be used for dryers.
