How to Cut Granite With an Electric Saw
- 1). Buy a diamond blade for your electric saw. Install the diamond blade according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- 2). Mark out the cut you want to make on the granite slab in pencil.
- 3). Lay the granite slab on a flat surface. Use vice grips to secure the stone.
- 4). Put some old sheets on the floor if you are cutting inside because there will be a lot of dust. Put paper filters over the air vents of your electric saw to prevent dust from clogging it.
- 5). Plug in the electric saw. Put on the face mask. Carefully cut along the pencil line on your granite slab.
