Squats are the most basic and probably most effective exercise known to man.

You can do them only using your body weight.

Eventually you want to work up to doing as many as 100 in 20 repetition sets.
In addition to daily squats you can add one session of wind sprints to your weekly exercise schedule.
The safest way to perform wind sprints is uphill.
So, find a decent grade near your home on which you can run up hill.
The reason why wind sprints are safer when performed uphill than on flat ground is that it is much easier to pull a hamstring when running on flat ground than when running uphill.
Start with 30 seconds of full blown uphill running.
Over time you can work up to 60 seconds.
Is very important that when using these exercises that you take the time to warm up properly before each exercise session.
You can jog in place, use jumping jacks or jump rope.
If your breathing is slightly elevated and you have started to sweat lightly then you are probably warm enough.
Also, be sure to stretch well after every exercise session.
Pay special attention to your legs and calves.
You can lose a lot of weight using just these three body movements: squats, wind sprints and stretching.
But, if you can add a good diet program you can double or triple the amount of weight and the rate at which you lose it.
