How Do You Erase Everything on "Nintendogs DS"?

1). Insert the Nintendogs game cartridge into your DS and turn the unit on. Touch the screen when the start-up screen appears.
2). Touch the Nintendogs icon on the system menu.
3). Hold down the "X," "Y," "B," "A," "L" and "R" buttons when the Nintendo logo appears.
4). Select "Yes" on the screen that appears. Select "Yes" on the next screen as well.
