How to Clean Streaked Stainless Steel Appliances

- 1). Spray glass cleaner directly onto the streaks. Rub a soft, clean cloth over the appliance, working in same direction as the stainless-steel grain -- the small lines in the surface -- to dry remove the streaks and dry the surface.
- 2). Dip a soft cloth into club soda to remove any streaks the glass cleaner left behind. Work the club soda into the stainless steel gently and dry with another cloth.
- 3). Rub the streak-free stainless steel with a cloth dipped into baby or vegetable oil to make the appliance shine.
- 4). Buff the oil off of the stainless steel appliance with a dry paper towel to polish.
