How to Get Over a Difficult Break-Up

No one in this world has gone through a break up smiling.
It is very rare to see someone smiling after a break up especially when you still have feelings for them.
The hardest part of a break up is after you have done it.
There will be moments when you will regret what you have done in the past and the actions you have made that led to the break up.
You may want to be alone and that the world will seem as if it is always cloudy and gloomy even if it is a bright sunshine filled summer morning.
But getting over a difficult break up can be easy once you religiously follow certain reminders from those people who have been there.
1.
Enjoy the company of others other than your ex.
Find your true friends and keep them.
Enjoy that cup of coffee you have with your friends and surround yourself with family.
They are your comfort blanket.
They are your secured zone.
Never alienate yourself from them.
Keep in mind that you are a living being.
Appreciate the small things around you.
Take a deep breath and smell the flowers if you can.
Dance in the rain or read a book on a rainy afternoon.
Submerge yourself into a hobby worth doing.
These are just a few things you can to forget those hurtful feelings.
2.
Keep yourself healthy.
During post break up stage, you will feel as if you need to sleep for long hours of time.
You feel exhausted and you feel as if you are ugly.
You might begin to eat a lot and become a couch potato.
Stand up and keep your body fit.
Do a morning jog or hit the gym.
Not only will you keep your body fit, but it will help you feel good too.
Learn a new sport and feel the sweat coming out of you.
It will make you feel and look good.
3.
Getting over a break up is not an overnight thing.
Understand that it is a long tedious process and there will be times when you will be tested.
You and your ex might bump into each other and you still have that lingering feelings for your ex.
Compress yourself and get on with it.
Remember, life is much better now that you are not with your ex.
Keep it that way.
And there might come a time that you cannot take it any longer, hold on to the feeling that people got through this and so can you.
