- 1). Plug in the Jacuzzi, turn on the hot water and let the motor run until all jet openings are underwater. Allow water to fill the tub until it is about 1 inch above the highest jet opening.
- 2). Drop in either 2 dishwasher detergent tablets or 1/4 cup of powdered dishwasher detergent. Do not substitute regular dish soap as this will produce too many soap suds.
- 3). Pour in 1/2 cup of bleach as well. Use either chlorine bleach or oxygen bleach, both which work well in removing buildup from tub surfaces and piping.
- 4). Turn on the jets to their highest speed and let them run for 15 minutes.
- 5). Drain your Jacuzzi tub and refill the tub again with only hot water. Run the jets for another 10 minutes. Drain the tub when finished and wipe down the tub surface with a cleaning rag.
