Home & Garden Do It Yourself

You"ll Need Some Descent Small Shed Plans - I Built My Own Small Shed You Can Too

For a lot people and especially homeowners storage space can become an issue.
Let's face it Most homes just don't offer enough space to shelter the necessary assets of a homeowner.
Attics and closets are great for storing those things you'll never use but can't seem to part with.
But what about the stuff that won't fit in the attic that you need year round? Just where exactly are you suppose to store your lawn mower or pressure washer and what about your tool chest? Small shed plans would be excellent for someone in need of storage space.
Now the more fortunate guys may be blessed with a garage and this makes a great place to store these things.
But if you're like me and care about your car you will want to keep it safe in the garage.
The downside is that it does not leave much room left for the other stuff.
But that's okay, I'm not about to let my 1969 Chevelle sit out in the driveway.
Would you? I didn't think so.
So where exactly are you supposed to keep all that bulky man stuff the wife doesn't want lying around? A small shed actually could be the addition to your backyard you've been looking for.
It doesn't have to be huge and ugly either.
If you build a quality shed it could even spice up your yard making it more authentic.
I love looking out the back window at my shed.
It sits about 10 feet away from the play house I built for the kids, they complement each other quite well and give my yard a pleasant, country, homely kind of feeling.
A small shed doesn't have to drain your wallet either, buy building one yourself you'll be saving a descent chunk of change and it will help you get your outdoor life organized.
Your tools will be safe from the weather or any curious children that may want to play with daddy's big boy toys.
You can easily install a latch and padlock for extra security.
Since the construction of my small outdoor shed my wife has stopped bothering about my clutter.
Not to mention now I have a place besides the kitchen counter to work on my dirt bike engines.
She loves me for that.
It really wouldn't take too much effort over the span of a few weekends.
With some dedication and a descent set of plans building your own won't be difficult at all.
You'll have a place to protect all your tools, your yard will look nice with a pretty shed standing there and believe it or not will have a positive effect on the value of your home.
