- In most cases, a sealant is not required for porcelain tile. Porcelain tile is so dense that it is impervious to tile sealants; but, it is necessary to seal the grout in porcelain tile flooring.
- You will need a diamond-blade wet saw to cut porcelain tile. Traditional dry tile cutters do not work well with porcelain tile. Use a 4-inch grinder for circular or oddly shaped cuts.
