GE JDP39 Range Cleaning Instructions

    Clean the Range

    • 1). Fill a sink with hot water and add 1 to 2 tbsp. dish soap.

    • 2). Remove the burners, drip pans and control knobs from the GE range if they're very dirty. Add the drip pans and control knobs to the soapy water to soak while you clean the range.

    • 3). Dip a scrub sponge in the soapy water and wring it out. Wipe the range top and oven handle with the sponge. Allow the soapy water to soften any residue on the range for a few minutes. Sprinkle baking soda over any tough debris, and scrub it away with the sponge.

    • 4). Rinse the sponge in clean water. Wipe over the range top to remove any soap residue.

    • 5). Dry the range with a towel.

    • 6). Spray the outside of the oven window with glass cleaner. Wipe it thoroughly with a clean, dry towel.

    Clean the Components

    • 1). Wash the drip pans and control knobs with a sponge.

    • 2). Rinse the range components with clean water, and dry them with a towel.

    • 3). Place the control knobs and drip pans back on the stove. Replace the burners.
