How to Remove Blood Stains from Clothing

    Wet Blood Stains

    • 1). Rinse with cold water while slightly rubbing off the blood.

    • 2). Make a paste of talcum powder and water.

    • 3). Allow the paste to dry on the stain.

    • 4). Brush off the paste.

    • 5). Wash the garment.

    Old Blood Stains

    • 1). Soak the stain in ammonia.

    • 2). Wash the garment in warm water with laundry detergent.

    Non-Cotton Items

    • 1). Put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide on the stain.

    • 2). Allow it to bubble.

    • 3). Rinse the garment.
