- 1). Add wheat germ to your cake, bread and cookie recipes. Instead of using the full amount of flour that a recipe calls for, halve the amount of flour and use wheat germ for the rest. You can also add a tablespoon of wheat germ to waffle and pancake batter.
- 2). Use wheat germ in recipes that call for bread crumbs. You can either use wheat germ instead of the bread crumbs or make a bread crumb-wheat germ combination.
