How to Get Rid of Spider Mites With Other Bugs

- 1). Prepare a spray solution. Mix insecticidal soap, available at gardening centers, as directed on the package. Alternatively, mix three tablespoons of liquid soap in a gallon of water, or one teaspoon of vegetable oil and one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid in a cup of water.
- 2). Pour the mixture into a spray bottle or handheld sprayer.
- 3). Spray the plant thoroughly. The spray must come into contact with the spider mites and other bugs to kill them. Don't forget the underside of the leaves.
