Fun Cocktail Drinks
- One of the classic fun cocktail drinks is the Jell-O shot. Already finished when your guests arrive, they are a good way to get a party started. Simply boil 6 2/3 cups of water, then remove from the heat and mix in six boxes of Jell-O mix. Let it cool about five minutes, then stir in five cups of vodka. Pour the mixture into shot glasses or plastic cups, and put in the freezer for a couple of hours until set.
- There are many flaming drinks, but this one is really unusual. Shake together one shot of Bailey's Irish Cream, one shot of butterscotch schnapps and one shot of Goldschlager. Pour into a cocktail glass. Float a small layer of sambuca on the top of the drink and sprinkle with cinnamon. Light the drink on fire and carry it to your guest. The cinnamon will give off sparks, creating the comet's tail as you walk through the room.
- This drink is a fun purple color, so any purple fans out there will love it. Mix together one shot of tequila, 1/2 shot of sloe gin and 1/2 shot of blue curacao in a cocktail shaker with a few cubes of ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass, and garnish with a cherry.
- This drink is served in many bars across the country on Halloween, so it's perfect if you're having a costume party at home. It looks like a bloody brain floating in formaldehyde, and tastes sort of like fruit juice. Pour 1/2 shot of peach schnapps in a double shot glass, then slowly add 1/2 shot of Bailey's or other Irish cream. Gently add drops of grenadine until you have a bloody look on your brain. Serve to the brave.
