- In addition to tap water, you will need distilled white vinegar, old newspapers and a clean, empty spray bottle.
- Mix equal parts of water and vinegar in the spray bottle. For especially dirty or greasy windows, and to avoid streaking, add 1/4 teaspoon of dish-washing liquid to the solution.
- Spray the solution onto the glass and wipe with crumpled up newspaper, which won't leave a trail of lint the way paper towels do.
- You can also try replacing the vinegar with club soda or strained lemon juice.
