Grilled Jumbo Shrimp

Ingredients
  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and de-veined
  • 2 tablespoons/30 mL soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon/15 mL rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon/15 mL sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25 mL pepper flakes, optional

  • Prep Time: 12 minutes
  • Cook Time: 6 minutes


  • Total Time: 18 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 2 to 4


Preparation
Place shrimp in a resealable plastic bag. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl and pour over shrimp. Seal bag and place in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Preheat grill for medium heat. Remove shrimp from bag and discard marinade. Thread shrimp onto skewers and place on grill. Cook for 4-6 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
