How to Shoot With a Red Dot Sight

- 1). Find a safe and approved area to practice shooting with a red dot sight. With both eyes open, locate your target and focus on it.
- 2). Lift your firearm into shooting position. Do not take your eyes off the target. For the red dot sight to be accurate, both eyes need to be open and on the target.
- 3). Look though the sights. The red dot will now be located in the spot you wish to hit. Take a deep breath and pull the trigger when you are clear. Test this out a few times. The hardest thing to do is to clear to shoot with both eyes open and on the target. Practice often until you are successful.
