The Motorola Flipout Providing A Social Messaging Experience With Its Motoblur

The Motorola Flipout offers a social messaging experience with its Motoblur social messaging service and simple user interface. It runs the Android 2.1 operating system along with the Flipout SDK add-on for an advanced user experience through the handsets compact QVGA display which rotates to provide a keyboard.

The handset has a 600 megahertz clock speed processor and 512 megabytes of random access memory to power the feature-rich operating system which is capable of running multiple applications at once, including for example allowing the user to listen to music simultaneously to browsing the Web or messaging contacts. The read-only memory is 512 megabytes flash in addition to 150 megabytes of available user storage besides the microSDHC (Class 6) which offers up to 32 gigabytes of storage memory for more applications, photos, videos and music.

The Flipout features the Android WebKit browser with Adobe Flash Lite 3, supporting both full HTML web pages as well as Flash applications on the Web. Messaging is available with instant messaging, text and multimedia messaging. The phone has a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera with 4 times digital zoom capability and captures images in JPEG format, with a 2048 by 1536 resolution respectively. The device has support for ten different Bluetooth profiles with its Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate featured, including the A2DP and AVRCP profiles for audio stereo wireless headsets to connect to the phone for easy music listening, in addition to the 3.5mm audio jack connection. There is also a microUSB connection supporting high speed 2.0 USB.
