How to Make Coffee With a Coleman 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Percolator

    • 1). Open up the percolator and remove the coffee basket.

    • 2). Fill the coffee percolator with 72 ounces of water. This will reach the bottom of the coffee basket. Replace the basket.

    • 3). Place one teaspoon of ground coffee for every six ounces of water that you put into the pot (12 teaspoons for 72 ounces of coffee). You can add more or less ground coffee based on your preferred taste.

    • 4). Close the lid and put the percolator on top of a stove. Turn the stove on and wait for the water to come to a boil. The lid will make a high-pitched sound when the water boils.

    • 5). Turn off the stove and let the coffee cool for two to three minutes before pouring into mugs.
