How to Make Fuel for Effusion Lamps

- 1). Measure 16 ounces of 91 ounces Isopropyl (Isopropanol), if it didn't already come in a 16-ounce container, in a glass measuring cup. Do not use any other percentage of alcohol.
- 2). Pour a synthetic fragrance oil of your choice into a metal one-fourth teaspoon, and add it to the alcohol you measured out. Stir the mixture thoroughly with a metal spoon. If the scent you are using is weak, you can add half a teaspoon instead.
- 3). Place a funnel on the mouth of a clean bottle that you've designated to hold your homemade effusion lamp oil. Pour the fuel into the bottle, and be sure to label it with the name of the scent you used.
