How to Get Rid of Bindweed From a Lawn

    • 1). Mix 1/8 cup 2,4 D Amine herbicide into a gallon of water.

    • 2). Fill up the pump sprayer and put the leftovers into a gallon jug labeled "D Amine."

    • 3). Spray around the bindweed. Each gallon should cover 1,000 square feet of lawn.

    • 4). Perform this method once in the spring and again in the fall. This process could take several years before all of the bindweed is gone, so repeat until there are no more bindweed plants in your lawn.
