- 1). Spray an aerosol petroleum-based lubricant onto the crayon marks.
- 2). Wipe the dry aerosol spray off with a dry cloth. Continue to apply it to the crayon on the chalkboard, and wipe it off with the cloth to remove it.
- 3). Combine 2 tbsp. of liquid dish soap with 1 qt. of warm water in a large bucket if you still notice crayon on the chalkboard.
- 4). Soak a non-abrasive sponge in the water. Wring out the excess soapy water, and scrub the crayon marks.
- 5). Keep scrubbing the area with the sponge. Rinse the soapy water off the chalkboard, and dry it off with a towel. If you still notice crayon stains, continue to clean them with fresh soapy water.
