We found out about this campground from friends and relatives who use the site through the year, and we tent camped there in May 2009.
Describe your camping trip:
We wanted to camp in an area that had good access to the highway and was out enough to give a real feel of being away and with minimal amenities, We found Baker has a great location and access to hiking, walking, and good fishing location.
Very secure with camp hosts that were there 24/7. We stayed one week and had a great and relaxing week within our budget. We did have to go into town to get supplies, but everything was very accessable.
Pros: The camp host runs a very clean and secure campsite. We fished within walking distance without having to climb any real rough terrain as I have some problems walking. Fire ring at our site, bath rooms were close by (waterless), real quiet.
Cons: No real problems at all.
Nearby attractions: Nearby lake Pine Valley, offroad access trail, a lot of great hiking trails, good mountain climbing, and good fishing.
Further comments: Not a big campground, so everyone there is able to have privacy and not disrupt other campers.
