Breakfast may not be the first thing that comes to mind when people think about visiting Orlando, Florida. This city built on tourism draws people from all over the world who wish to visit theme parks and see shows and experience a sense of magic that this Central Florida city claims. However, Orlando is also home to many restaurants that feed these visitors and its residents, and some of them do breakfast better than anything else. - A person hungry for breakfast should quickly be drawn to any place called The Breakfast Club. The restaurant serves lunch as well, but the name tells the tale--this place specializes in morning food. An extensive omelette menu includes classics like the Denver or the Mediterranean, but it also lists less common options like the Kickin' Chicken with Southwest dressing or the California Classic complete with avocado and sour cream.
The more unique dishes offered at The Breakfast Club of Orlando include Buttered Buttons (cheese covered mushrooms) and the Pope John--a Polish sausage covered in mustard, onions, Swiss cheese and served with eggs on an English muffin.

breakfastcluboforlando.com - Christo's Café just north of downtown Orlando specializes in down home country cooking when it comes to breakfast. This restaurant is frequented by neighborhood foot traffic, as it is off the main vein of tourism along Interstate 10 by just a few blocks near Lake Ivanhoe.
The café serves its popular breakfast menu until 3 p.m. each day and staffers do not rush the process. As the menu will tell guests, "good food takes time to prepare." This is especially true when all items in the restaurant are cooked to order. Christo's offers a selection of house specialty omelets, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches and eggs any way the customer wants them.

christoscafe.com - Sometimes the best restaurants are not the most popular ones, at least until someone spreads the word around. Chuck's Restaurant, just a couple of block off of Colonial Drive, is one of those low-profile places with customers who would just as soon see it stay that way. This average looking spot in the road actually has some of the best breakfast in the city, but many people pass by it everyday and never know its there. The building has been the home of several restaurants over the last century, but Chuck's is probably going to be around awhile. Although it may not quite be famous yet, it still has trouble keeping up with the demand for the menu favorites. It isn't unusual for the most popular items to sell out pretty early.
Perhaps the biggest draw to Chuck's, aside from the laid-back, come as you are feel, is the biscuits and sausage gravy. For less than three bucks, customers can sink their teeth into these soft, sweet baked goods smothered in the owner's slightly spicy concoction. The menu also features pancakes, eggs, grits and all the breakfast staples you'd come to expect from any self respecting breakfast establishment.
