How to Insert a Pause in the Speed Dial for a BlackBerry

- 1). Select "Menu." The location will vary depending upon your model.
- 2). Select "Contacts."
- 3). Choose the contact you wish to assign the speed dial.
- 4). Select the 10-digit number, then select the "Menu" key, located left of the trackball.
- 5). Select "Add Speed Dial," then select "OK."
- 6). Choose an "Entry" letter. For example, if you choose "B," the contact is speed-dialed with the letter "B" on your keypad.
- 7). Select "Menu," then select "Edit."
- 8). Choose "Add Pause," then choose "Save." By adding pause to the contact, it will automatically flow to the contact's profile in the speed-dial menu.
