Cleaning Instructions for the Jack LaLanne Juicer
- 1). Turn off your Jack LaLanne juicer. Before you start cleaning, the motor needs to be completely stopped. Unplug the juicer.
- 2). Disassemble your juicer. Remove the pusher from the chute and lower the silver locking bar. Take off the pulp guard lid, as well as the pulp collector and take out the blade using the orange crescent tool provided with your juicer. Take out the filter and receptacle from the base of your juicer.
- 3). Wipe off the base of your Jack LaLanne juicer with a damp cloth. The base is not waterproof so don't spray it with water or submerge it to clean.
- 4). Use mild dish-washing liquid to hand wash the pusher, which is sensitive to the high temperatures of dishwashers.
- 5). Wash the remaining parts of your juicer, except for the filter and blade, either by hand or in your dishwasher using a mild detergent. Be sure to rinse all items thoroughly before placing in your dishwasher.
- 6). Clean the filter and blade by hand. Do not submerge in soapy water. Instead, rinse them under warm water from your faucet and then brush off any remaining pulp with a soft-bristled dish-washing brush. Rinse them off again but only rinse the filter from the outside.
- 7). Dry each part of your juicer thoroughly with a towel or allow them to air dry. Once dried, you can reassemble your juicer.
- 8). Turn on your Jack LaLanne juicer to spin out any remaining water before putting it away.
