How to Check Norton Internet Security Virus Definitions
- 1). Click on Norton Internet Security's system tray icon to open the Norton Internet Security Control Panel.
- 2). Click "Run LiveUpdate." This opens Symantec's LiveUpdate utility, which checks with Norton to see if virus definition updates are available for your computer.
- 3). Click "OK." If any virus definition updates are available, they will have been downloaded and installed at this time. If none are available, you will get a message indicating as such. Clicking "OK" will close out of the LiveUpdate box and return you to the Norton Internet Security Control Panel.
