Hi, I¡¯m Lindsey Smith, creator of FoodMoodGirl.com. And today, I¡¯m going to show you how to make a family fun pumpkin smoothie. In order to make this smoothie, you¡¯ll need the following ingredients: A half a cup of almond milk, a half a cup of canned pumpkin, one banana, one teaspoon pure vanilla extract, two teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice, and one tablespoon of honey. This smoothie really has just one step. You¡¯re going to add all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend on medium to high volume for one to two minutes, or until your smoothie is the consistency that you like. Pumpkins help with eye function, and help prevent free radicals from entering the body. Pumpkins also contain magnesium, which helps bone health and can also prevent sugar cravings. Pumpkins contain L-Tryptophan, which is a feel-good chemical that helps fight off depression.
