How to Clean Mold in Marble Sinks

    • 1). Use a soft-bristled brush to scrape away and loosen the mold in the sink. Don't use a brush with coarser bristles, which might scratch the sink; a nylon brush or an old toothbrush will work fine.

    • 2). Rinse the mold down the drain with hot water and rinse the area well.

    • 3). Mix a weak solution of two parts water and one part 3 percent hydrogen peroxide.

    • 4). Soak a clean cloth in the solution and set it on the area where the mold was. Allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes.

    • 5). Remove the cloth and rinse the area well with warm-to-hot water.
