How to Use a Xbox Memory Card
- 1). Insert the memory unit into either one of the slots on top of the Xbox controller.
- 2). Open the Xbox disc tray. If there's a disc inside, remove it, then restart the console. This loads the Xbox menu.
- 3). Select "Memory" from the menu, then press the "A" button on the controller.
- 4). Select "Xbox Hard Disk," then press the "A" button on the controller.
- 5). Use up or down on the D-Pad to highlight the game whose data you would like to save.
- 6). Press left or right on the D-Pad to highlight the saved game.
- 7). Press the "A" button to bring up the option that indicates "Copy."
- 8). Press the "A" button again to copy the data onto the memory card.
- 1). Connect the memory card to a controller on another Xbox.

- 4). Use the D-Pad to select "Controller 1," then press the "A" button on the controller.
- 5). Use up or down on the D-Pad to highlight the game whose data you would like to load.
- 6). Press left or right on the D-Pad to highlight the saved game.
- 7). Press left or right on the D-Pad to highlight the saved game.
- 8). Press the "A" button again to copy the data onto the hard drive.
- 1). Complete Steps 1 through 4 from Section 1 above, taking you to the Xbox Hard Disk menu.
- 2). Use up or down on the D-Pad to highlight "Xbox Live Accounts."
- 3). Press left or right on the D-Pad to select the account you wish to copy.
- 4). Press "A" to bring up the "Copy/Delete" option, then press "A" again to copy the data onto the memory unit.
- 5). Disconnect the memory unit, then load the Xbox Live account while playing any online game on another Xbox.
