Have you ever heard of the ghost of monk in Nidarosdomen?! The ghost story that I want to tell you is one of the most famous ghost stories in Norway.
There are many witnesses who had seen the ghost or sensed his presence in the Cathedral back in 1920's and many years later! Some say that he was a very handsome monk.
One of the stories goes back in 1924 when a lady was at the Sunday service and was singing one of the psalms, suddenly she saw, a handsome, good looking young man near to one of the church's gate, standing and looking at her.
The ghost had a long garment, his sharp blue eyes were shiny.
He went through one of the choir members during the ceremony, then he separated his head from his bloody body, then he disappeared! There were many who saw the ghost or even talked with him! That is why many years later a TV station decided to make a program about the Monk, but for some reasons they never made the program! Entertainment in Trondheim.
