Portable Chicken Coop Tips

Having a portable chicken coop can be a special thing for both you and your family.
In the same way that dogs and cats are excellent pet choices, chickens make great pets and also provide you with high quality eggs to eat.
It is important to provide your hens with a great place to live because this is part of being a responsible animal owner.
When building a portable chicken coop one of the things you will want to think about is the cost of the coop.
If you use materials such as wire (for your fence) and wire cutters (that you may already have), you can keep the cost of your portable chicken coop low.
Also it is a good move to use a doghouse that is made of plastic to house your chickens.
This makes it easy to carry if you choose to move the henhouse at certain times.
Lastly, have a portable chicken coop where no more than 3 chickens make their home.
Remember if you want to get more birds later that is fine, just build another coop to house them because you will need more space than one portable coop can provide.
A smaller coop or ark as they are sometimes called should be used to house no more than 4 hens at any one time otherwise you run the risk of overcrowding.
While making a portable chicken coop can be difficult, remember that with the proper training this challenge can be easily overcome.
They can be made easily if you have the right training!
