How to Get a Six Pack Without Going to the Gym

If you want to get a six pack like a fitness model, you need to combine cardiovascular training, strength training, and a good sound diet.
Of the three, your diet will make or break you.
When you go to the grocery store, only purchase foods that either grow, walk, swim, or fly.
Try to buy organic and natural foods including vegetables, fruits, and lean meats (such as chicken and fish).
  Avoid processed foods.
If it comes in glass or plastic jars, there are likely better food choices for you.
Don't think of this "diet" as some fad.
It really isn't a "diet", it's just sensible and clean eating.
It's the way you should eat every day for the rest of your life, not just a few weeks.
Once you are eating right, over half of your battle is won!  Next, your exercise program.
You should find yourself a program that incorporates strength training and cardio vascular training.
For your strength training, a pair of selectable dumbbells or resistance bands work great.
Work your larger muscle groups with exercises such as squats, lunges, presses, push's, pulls, etc.
If you're working out in your garage, put an eyebolt into the ceiling and wall.
You can use these as points of resistance.
There are a great number of resistance band exercises you can do, including resistance band pullups, pec flys, and more.
As you go from one exercise to the next, keep the rest periods between to a minimum.
Both your body and your endurance will get stronger.
Finally, you have to combine cardiovascular exercises.
This can be from walking, jogging, swimming, biking, etc.
Here's the thing though, you want to make these exercises high intensity interval training.
This means that you alter your amount of tensity throughout the workout.
Let's take bike riding for an example.
Start out riding slowly, then increase your intensity.
After several minutes, spend a minute pedaling as fast as you can, then drop your intensity back down for a minute or two.
Then, once again, start to pedal as fast as you can.
Do these intervals throughout your bike ride  As you shift intensity levels, you burn more calories.
Here's the really cool thing, you also help to raise your metabolism.
You can burn as much as 9 times the fat with high intensity interval training versus slow and steady cardio (what you see most people doing on treadmills at the gym).
Remember, it's the fat burn that happens once the workout is over that really matters! Use these tips and you can easily get a Six pack without having to have an expensive gym membership.
