How to Make an Indian Halloween Costume
- 1). Cut the fabric into a 30-by30 inches square. Put scraps aside for fringe.
- 2). Cut 3-inch slits about 1/2-inch wide all the way around the square of cloth.
- 3). Sew the trim onto square just about the cuts.
- 4). Cut a hole in the middle. The dress should be worn like a poncho.
- 5). Cut strips of cloth 3 ½ inches wide and long enough to go around the hem of dress.
