Operating Instructions for the Clapper
- 1). Unplug the appliance or lighting fixture from the power outlet. Plug the appliance or lighting fixture into either the left or right receptacle on The Clapper. Plug it into the left receptacle if you want to turn the appliance on with two claps; plug it into the right receptacle if you want to turn it on with three claps.
- 2). Turn The Clapper's switch to "HI." This is the "Home" setting. The setting below is the "Away" setting. The away setting is very sensitive. It turns appliances on after the slightest of noises. It's best used when you are away from your house and want to ward off intruders.
- 3). Plug The Clapper into your selected wall outlet.
- 4). Turn on the appliance by clapping twice, or three times, depending on the receptacle into which the appliance is plugged. Pause approximately one-half second between each clap. Repeat the clap sequence to turn the appliance off.
