How to Blow Out Coarse Hair to Make It Look Shiny
- 1). Wash your hair with an anti-frizz shampoo. Follow with a conditioner for dry hair.
- 2). Towel your hair dry. Do not rub your hair with the towel, but rather squeeze the hair between two layers of a towel to extract moisture.
- 3). Apply a leave-in conditioner to the ends of your hair. Rub an anti-frizz serum all over your hair. Comb through your hair to distribute the products evenly.
- 4). Blow-dry your hair with the dryer set on low heat. Use a diffuser to prevent frizz. Brush the hair straight with a round brush, working from the top of the hair to the bottom. Work one 3- to 4-inch section of hair at a time. Point the dryer nozzle down from the top of the head to prevent frizzing.
